We are looking for a trainee to join us in August 2026 for one year. This opportunity is offered in collaboration with The Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad.  

  

India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Often referred to as the world’s biggest democracy with a population of 1.5 billion, the country is multi-faceted and diverse in all possible ways. With a recently agreed FTA between EU and India, all eyes are turned to here. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce India is the hub for Swedish companies established in the country. We work together with our members to build their long-term, sustainable, and meaningful business operations. One of the key topics in the India-Sweden relationship is holistic sustainability, for business, environment, and people.  

  

During your time with us you will be involved in projects, activities, and studies we conduct to drive this strategic agenda. The work requires you to have excellent people skills, to be organised and have a knack for creative communication. It is a merit if you have experience in using communication tools such as Canva or Brevo. Your tasks will vary from event management, producing communication material, member care, research, and data collection. We appreciate your ability to work independently but in team, to be flexible but focussed, to know the details in the larger perspective, and your people centric approach and curiosity. 

  

If you are ready to learn, to be challenged, and to discover new frontiers for yourself and together with others, then this trainee position is for you. The placement is in New Delhi, India for 12 months.   

  

ABOUT YOU  

To apply for this trainee position you need to be a Swedish citizen, under 30 years old and have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Beyond your qualifications, we are interested to see if you would fit into our team and context.
