About the event
In the beginning of this year, the Union government released the draft Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules 2025 to enforce provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This marks a critical step towards establishing and implementing a robust framework for data privacy in India – something that has been in the making for over seven years.
How will the Act bring in greater transparency, accountability and security when it comes to data in India? What does it mean for multinational companies in India? What new compliances need to be put in place?
Join in as the Legal Heads from Volvo Group, Sinch, and Ericsson unpack what this means for Swedish companies in India.
This session is part of the Risk & Compliance platform, where we untangle key issues and policies specific to the Legal and Risk and Compliance domain. In a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, there is need to collaborate, learn and find solutions together, to continue setting the benchmark for ethical, responsible and sustainable business in India.
