Half-day Session with FIEO on Exploring Business Opportunities with Swedish Buying Houses

The Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) in association with SCCI is organizing an Interactive session on “Exploring Business Opportunities with Swedish Buying Houses” as per details below:

Date: 2 March 2012

Venue: Niryat Bhawan, Rao Tula Ram Marg, New Delhi

Time: 10.30 am to 2.00 pm

The meeting will be followed by networking lunch

At the session, the representative of the Swedish buying houses will be elaborating on their current buying trends and would also be giving advice to the Indian companies for approaching the buying houses. 

The participants shall get an opportunity to introduce their products for getting an entry into the supply chain. Exportkreditnämnden (EKN) visits the SCCI on 21 March

EKN is a business partner to exporting companies and banks. EKN will brief the Swedish companies of the possibilities to obtain guarantees and insure their export transactions against the risk of non-payment. With EKN's payment and financing guarantees, you are protected against non-payment and are also in a position to obtain better financing from the bank. EKN currently insures both large and small transactions in India.

Golf Tournament in Delhi on 24 March

SCCI is arranging its annual Golf Tournament in Delhi, Gurgaon, Golden Green Resort on 24 March 2012.

The Golf Tournament will be followed by a dinner.

Gujarat’s attractiveness as an investment destination is ever increasing, as the state government works to improve its business environment with Special Economic Zones and also large Investment Regions with robust infrastructure. The state has one of the fastest growing economies in India. It is also one of the most industrialized states of India.

As a number of our members have shown an interest to visit Gujarat, to better understand the business climate and opportunities in the region, the SCCI will organize a business delegation trip to Gujarat on 11-13 April 2012, lead by the Swedish Ambassador Lars-Olof Lindgren.
