  • Mr. Jörgen Sjöström, Chairman

    Jörgen Sjöström has been with SEB since 1986 and has many years experience in Trade Finance and Export & Project Finance. He started in SEB with Documentary Credit and gradually moved to Export and Project Finance, SEB Merchant Banking where he has held various different positions including Head of Export and Project Finance Gemany.

    He has done his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics at the University of Stockholm (1993). He is married to Susanne and has three children.

  • Mr. Håkan Kingstedt, Vice Chairman

    Håkan Kingstedt is MD & President for Sandvik Asia Ltd, Pune (Country Manager). He is a Mechanical Engineer with wide experience in diverse areas including Corporate Management, Manufacuturing and Human Resource Development globalized markets. Håkan is married to Margret and they have three children.

  • Mr. Magnus Oskarsson, Vice Chairman

    Magnus Oskarsson is MD for Roxtec India Pvt. Ltd.  Prior to Roxtec, Magnus has been with DeLaval for 13 years. During these years Magnus has been working with business development, marketing/sales and most recent with quality and environmental strategies. He has experience from working and living in Russia, Poland, Tunisia, Japan, Pakistan and India (2007-2008).

    Magnus is married to Cecilia and have two daughters, Siri and Inez

  • Mr. Marcus Sandstrom, Treasurer

    Marcus Sandstrom is the Managing Director of Oriflame India Pvt. Ltd.

    Prior to joining Oriflame India, Marcus was the Executive Vice-Prsident of Lux International AG, Switzerland. In his career span of 13 years, Marcus has been living and working in nine different countries. Marcus was also associated with Electrolux and Vorweck International. He has been the Vice-Chairman of the Board for Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.

    Marcus is an International Business graduate from Uppsala University. He also studied at National University of Singapore and Beijing Language & Culture University. He likes to play golf, polo and has a keen interest in mountaineering. He lives in Delhi with his wife and two kids.

  • Mr. Gregg Mowins

    Gregg Mowins is Regional Purchase Manager for IKEA’s Trading Operations in South Asia, with headquarters in New Delhi and regional offices in Karachi (Pakistan) and Dhaka (Bangladesh).

    Gregg joined IKEA in 1988 in the United States where he held a number of assignments in IKEA’s retail operations in North America before moving to Sweden in 1999. While there, Gregg lead global business development for three of IKEA’s home furnishings businesses and served as a member of the management group of IKEA of Sweden AB and as board member of IKEA Iberica.

    Gregg moved to India in February 2010, and in addition to his passion for home furnishings, maintains a keen interest in leadership development and the integration of social and environmental responsibility and business development.

  • Mr. Fredrik Jejdling

    Fredrik Jejdling is Vice President & Head of Engagement Practices for Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. . He is the Head of the Region India, Nepal and Bhutan.

    Fredrik has previously been with Ericsson Stockholm as Vice President and Head of Sales & Business Unit Global Services, LUX Asia Pacific, LUX Australia, TELE 2- Sec A,3C Communication.He has also served in the Royal Swedish Navy as a Lieutenant, Combat Command Officer responsible for the combat information center and officer on the bridge.

    Fredrik holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration, Major in Finance and International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics. He has two children with his Italian wife and is interested in all kinds of sports particularly, kite-boarding and skiing.

  • Mr. Mats Agervi

    Mats Agervi is Vice President and Head of Ericsson Global Services Centre India. He joined Ericsson in August 2007 as Vice President and Head of Sales & Marketing, Business Unit Global Services, Ericsson. Mats has previously been with IBM for almost 8 years and has held leading positions as Business Unit Manager in Sweden, the Nordic Region and India. In India he was the head of IBM’s Global Delivery organization. Under his leadership this organization grew from 6.000 to 45.000 employees over a period of 3 years.

    Prior to joining IBM, he had 9 years of IT experience at various leading positions in Digital and Compaq. He also was the Managing Director for Compaq System Services AB in Sweden.

    Mats has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management. During the period 2008-2010 he was Chairman of the Sweden India Business Council (SIBC).

  • Mr. Akash Passey

    Akash Passey is the Managing Director of Volvo buses for South Asia. Akash is a member of Volvo Bus Corporation, Region International Management Team. He has been among the founding members of Volvo in India and the bus operations in the country.

    Earlier to his current role, Akash was responsible for Strategy, Business Development & Operational Development for Region International, Volvo Bus Corporation based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

    Akash today is actively involved in various industry bodies like SIAM, CII, IATO & Swedish Chamber of Commerce India etc.

  • Mr. Anders Malmstrom

    Anders Malmstrom is Country manager for the Swedish Trade Council in India and the region of Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

    Previously Anders has been with Ernst & Young Management Consulting and Capgemini for 10 years with a focus mainly on international business development, M&A and Strategic development as a management consultant.

    Keen interests are rock climbing, skiing and travel. Anders holds an MBA from Lund University in Sweden. Anders lives in Delhi with his wife and a daughter.

  • Mr Lars Olof Lindgren, Ambassador

    His Excellency Lars-Olof Lindgren is the Ambassador of Sweden to India.

    Before taking office in The Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi, H.E. Lindgren was the State Secretary to the Prime Minister dealing with International Affairs and the European Union. Prior to this, he was the State Secretary for Trade in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

  • Ms Lila Poonawalla

    Lila Poonawalla is the Past Chairperson and Managing Director of Alfa Laval India, and Tetra Pak India. Currently she is on the Boards of many reputed companies in India, including IDBI one of the largest Public sector banks in India. She is the Chairperson of Sweden Pune Business Development Council, Under the Aegis of MCCI&A. She is recipient of many Awards both National and International including the Padmashree (equivalent to a Knight) from the President of India and the Polar Star from the King of Sweden. She is on the advisory boards of many universities and government bodies. She started a Trust in 1996 named Lila Poonawalla Foundation, which supports economically needy girls, for PG studies both In India and abroad. In the last 12 years 386 girls have benefited from these scholarships.

  • Ms Cecilia Rahm, General Manager

    Cecilia has taken over as the new General Manager of the Swedish Chamber starting the 1st of August, 2011.

    Cecilia moved to New Delhi in January, 2011. She has a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology, and she has also studied Engineering at Lamar University in Texas, USA. Cecilia started her career as a project manager at ABB after finishing the Trainee Program including working in Italy and USA. After six exciting years at ABB also working as a KAM with clients both in Europe and Asia, she continued her career as product and project Manager at Ericsson. She was responsible for various projects in Latin America for example building up the first digital system in Costa Rica. In 1998 she moved with her family to Brazil, where she successfully built up a system for ATL in Rio de Janeiro.. After almost three years in Brazil, Cecilia moved to Madrid. Here she worked both at the Swedish Embassy, at the Swedish Trade Council, and as KAM and Country Manager for IKIVO, a small Swedish company developing application for telecommunication.

    Cecilia is married having two children, one daughter and one son. Her passion in life is sports.

  • Ms. Linda Lausson, Deputy General Manager

    Linda Lausson has joined the Swedish Chamber as the new Deputy General Manger. Her previous experience includes work as a business lawyer and attorney at the law firm Lindahl in Stockholm. Linda has key expertise in Swedish corporate law, mergers  & acquisitions and competition law, representing both Swedish and international companies in a broad range of matters, spanning from manufacturing, energy and commodities to daily consumer goods and knowledge-based, innovative and technology intensive industries. She has also worked at the European Parliament and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.

  • Ms. Dolly Berry, Admin. Officer

    Dolly is a graduate in Arts from Delhi University.

    Having started her career as a copy-writer at a graphic design company in 2005, she moved gradually to managing everyday office affairs in the family-run business of supplying books to libraries.

    A summer stint at VOGUE India as a fashion correspondent for their Net-edition introduced her to the beautiful world of the Indian design industry.

    Dolly's last experience at Le Meridien New Delhi was in F&B (Sales & Marketing) that made her privy to the hospitality industry.
