Ericsson has shaped the future of mobile and broadband internetcommunications through its technology leadership. It has been associated with India for over a century. In 1903, the company supplied its first product to India: manual switchboards to the government. Ericsson’s world-class manufacturing plant near Jaipur, Rajasthan, produces both wireless as well as wireline telecom equipment. Recently, Ericsson inaugurated its first R&Dfacility in the country (in Chennai). Ericsson has Global Service DeliveryCentres (GSDC) in Delhi and in Chennai.
